I frequently participate in court appearances via zoom in multiple court rooms. Unfortunately, when both judges take the bench, I have not determined how to mute one courtroom while I speak to the judge in the other. My only solution is to type a message to the host that I am leaving and will return after the other hearing is completed. Is there a simpler way to just mute the host in one court room while I speak in the other?
There is a "simpler" way that requires some additional technology (simpler for user usually means more complex configuration for the system). You can not run multiple instances of the Zoom client on one computer. However, you can share the desktop of multiple computers on another computer by using Real VNC remote desktop software ( I do this every week to run one Zoom meeting while I monitor (and can control) another meeting. Using OBS Studio with NDI plugin you can route a mic and a camera over the network to both computers then switch it on the meeting of choice. It is doable, but you may need an engineer to help you set it up.
