Weird one...

Have a user whose microphone doesn't work in Zoom when in a meeting. Doing the microphone test picks up the mic input, so I know Zoom can access the mic, but when you go to join the meetint with computer audio it says the mic and speakers could not be found

I have of course rebooted, reinstalled Zoom, updated mic drivers, checked microphone privacy settings etc

At a bit of a loss! Any ideas?

Do you know if there is any other software that could be potentially using the Microphone? Possibly another Video conferencing application?

I rebooted the laptop and only opened Zoom to join the meeting, so there were no other apps open at the time

Are you testing with the built in mic/speakers or using an external device?

Built in. I've asked the user to try plugging in some headphones and see if it works, just waiting to hear back at the moment.

Sorry to be clear I meant earphones with built in mic 🙂
