Message to Zoom from paying customer
Dear Zoom - there are three issues that have made my life (and, a lot of people, I’m sure) LESS convenient, for no reason.
- You have removed the “Share Privately” function in Zoom docs. There was ZERO reason for this. I used this feature all the time, it’s not there now. I received an email from tech support basically saying…. too bad…. put in a request. Maybe they’ll put it back, maybe not. No. Not good enough. There was no need to remove it in the first place. I don’t have time to argue with Zoom about a feature they USED to have but removed it for no reason.
- Scheduling - why can’t we schedule meetings that have no defined time right in the app? Ridiculous. USED to be able to do this. Again, gone for no reason. Completely inconvenient and stupid.
- No download button in Zoom docs. To download files on an ipad or a phone in Zoom docs, it’s ridiculous how much of a pain it is. Why can’t you guys just put a DOWNLOAD button on the page main or somewhere LOGICAL?
For me, I’m not paying almost $20 a month for this. I’d rather spend my money on another platform and have it actually be convenient. Even my students hate it. I’m gonna give this another month and, if these problems aren’t addressed, I’m out.
