Meeting Recording Stopped and began again and it only gace ve the second part of my class....

Hi everyone,

Today I had a masterclass of almost three hours, and I'm trying to understand and get some help to recover a portion of my recording.

I experienced this issue today 9/7/26 during a Zoom meeting.

I was given permission by the host  to record and save to my computer as always, However, during the meeting, the recording stopped on its own and I restarted it about a second later. This happened once when we were about 2 ½ hours in the class.  As a result, the final recording was supposed to be split split into two separate files of different lengths, but I can only find the second part of the recording. .

I'm absolutely certain I didn’t manually stop or pause the recording, and I didn’t change any settings during the session. Please help as I have to prepare for an exam this coming week.

Has anyone else experienced this? Could it be related to something on Zoom’s side?

I need to find out how to recover the first part of my class, if possible. 

Any insight into what might have caused this or how to prevent it in the future would be greatly appreciated.
