Managing virtual team meetings for remote field operations

Looking for advice on setting up Zoom for a company that has teams working in remote locations across Saudi Arabia. We do mining exploration services KSA wide and our geologists are often in the field for weeks at a time.

The challenge is:

• Daily check in meetings with teams in different time zones

• Some locations have spotty internet connectivity

• Need to share large geological data files during meetings

Questions:

1. What is the best way to schedule recurring meetings when team members are in remote areas with unreliable connectivity

2. Does anyone use Zoom for technical presentations with large maps and survey data - any tips for screen sharing high resolution files

3. How do you handle recording storage for daily briefings - cloud or local

We have been looking at how Weco manages their remote team communications and they seem to have a solid setup for field operations.
