I have noticed you have had many people experiencing this problem and nowadays I tend to refer to google meet where I don't experience this awful issue. I closed down my background apps. I have used Zoom for years so why all of a sudden on a faster and better computer since I did some updates it started acting like a pain in the ...

Firstly, it's clearly an update problem with zoom as previously mentioned it worked fine before.

I have tried reinstalling it and restarting my computer and all that stuff, nothing.

Unlike google meet I like the fact zoom can allow others to access your screen but it's impossible to use nowadays.

Also, when I updated to newer version of zoom my audio quality wasn't as strong and it's difficult to hear people clearly and loudly like I us

I agree with the current issues you are facing, which Zoom seems to do nothing about addressing, even though they must be losing a huge number of subscribers over these problems.  I have been using the app for well over 4 years now to host an online music quiz 4 times a year for about 6 users.  The only other apps running on a new laptop with Windows 11 are iTunes for the music, Excel and Adobe Acrobat.  No problems until the last two quizes with audio playlists randomly freezing, which ruins the evening.  I'll have to use Microsoft Teams or Google Meet in the future, assuming both have a share screen facility.

It would be good to have a comment from Zoom on this issue.

I too have been having this same problem and it seems to be connected to recent versions of the Zoom Windows 11 App. I agree that I am confused as to why Zoom has not joined this conversation. It is so troublesome, and it there are other options.

From comments so far, this does look like a Windows 11 issue.  The silence from Zoom on the matter is deafening!
