Laptop video call switched to cell phone

When I am using the app and the laptop to run zoom is the data being pulled from only the device I am using at that time? I usually initially  answer on the laptop a lot but wonder if switching immediately to my cell will save my hotspot data and pull from my unlimited cell phone data instead?

 

Trying not to burn through 35g of Data in a month and we have a lot of live meetings.

    Once you on zoom meeting on laptop you have to check some basic need like check did you on your meeting on mobile data or wifi. If you are run zoom meeting on mobile data then it did problem. this same issue was having with me but when i turn off mobile data and on wifi then it work perfectly fine. You have to do same process if it still doing the same issue.
