Is there a way to prompt participants to turn on their camera when joining a meeting?

Hi everyone,

I'm looking for a way to encourage or prompt (automatically) participants to turn on their cameras right as they join a Zoom meeting.

While I know participants can choose their own video settings, I'm wondering if there is a built-in feature, setting, or prompt we can enable that asks or reminds attendees to switch on their video automatically upon entry - rather than them joining with it off by default and needing to be asked manually.

Is a feature like this available, or has anyone found a smooth workaround for encouraging camera-on participation right from the start? Right now we’re doing it manually asking for video to be on for each participant and it’s quite time consuming.

Any insights would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks so much 🙏

Hi @RESETS. Zoom doesn’t have a way to automatically prompt users to turn on their videos. However, I’m curious to know if any other community members have any suggestions for encouraging users to join with their cameras on.
