I am unable to change my default screen name in my zoom profile online. I can change the screen name in the zoom app but it always resets to the default. When I try to update my profile in the zoom website the screen has a spinning circle like it is loading but it never loads. It seems like a website malfunction. I have tried several times over. the past week and the situation is the same. I have a free account. I am using safari on mac book pro. Most recent operating system. 

In most Zoom meetings (and Teams meetings), my headphones and microphone work perfectly.  In one weekly Zoom meeting, Zoom keeps lowering my microphone volume so no one can hear me.  I have a short-term work around to switch to internal and back to external microphone on my Win10 machine, and my mic works for a little bit until maybe someone else talks, and then my volume goes down again.I've tried adjusting microphone volume, turning on/off zoom echo cancelling and automatic volume settings, but nothing works.  I've seen several other people post similar problems.  I think there is a problem with the Zoom software for echo cancelling that when there is a certain combination of people using particular versions of Zoom or, more likely, particular types of headsets (most others have bluetooth, but I have analog), that it chooses one person to lower their volume to try to reduce echo (even though we don't hear any echo).Please fix this because it is ve

how to block hand raise during meeting

I have been using zoom for a few years on an older computer and needed to upgrade my desktop.  I purchased a much better computer, reinstalled zoom, same camera/monitor/speaker, same wifi.  Now every time I join a zoom meeting and go to share my screen it lags REALLY bad. Like a minute plus. I have also seen an alert saying my internet connection is slow. HOWEVER I have a great wifi signal.  I also can see other screen sharing just fine. I also can use google meet and share my screen just fine. I uninstalled and re-installed zoom, checked every setting, searched the net. Still can't fix and it is greatly affecting my work. Please help!

Hello Community,I have a Zoom One Pro license and also subscribed to Zoom Scheduler. Zoom Scheduler allows to book appointments for Zoom meetings directly on my website. This works as far as it goes. However, I would like to simplify the booking process for me by syncing Zoom and my Google Calendar. As soon as I block a time slot in Google Calendar, this time slot should also no longer show up as an available appointment on my website. Even though I linked Google Calendar in the Zoom account and clicked sync, it doesn't work. When I block a time slot in Google Calendar, it still shows up as available on Zoom. Does anyone know this problem and has been able to resolve it?

We use the chat log to type in our communication due to attendees having difficulty with bandwidth and all the bells and whistles.  The system used to (1) pull a raw log of the chat window including attendees and the communication texts which was very helpful,and (2) the new one sent me a log after the meeting - it flashed on the screen as if it downloaded into my computer, but I cannot find it at all. Is there something I can search on other than 'log'?  I need the log for the minutes.

We've been connecting our H.323 systems to Zoom meetings for 5 years, and in the last few weeks have noticed the Mute on Entry pop up message no longer disappears automatically. The mute on entry setting has been on for the meetings, and has not been changed on our end.The message below used to disappear within 30-60 seconds after connection, but now it never goes away. I've dug through the settings looking for something to auto suppress this, but either missed it or it doesn't exist. I am at my online limit for saving meeting videos and would like to free up space. I can view them, but I see no way to delete them,

Every week I upload a Zoom meeting to Vimeo. This week I got this error message: "The application has received an invalid parameter. Please get in touch with the apps creator".Has anyone experienced this and knows how to fix it? THX   

I run a technical meeting and tonight we got a type of zoom bombing I've not seen before.  Seemed to be free floating window with sexual content, not associated with any particular user.  We had rename/video/screenshare off.We also had offensive chat messages appearing to come from multiple people ... seems that someone was able to create a chat "from" someone else.Not sure what more I can do to defend against this sort of behavior.

I would like to post rules in the waiting room so that participants can see them before entering the meeting.  Is this possible?  

Can I request mouse control of someone else's screen in a breakout room if I'm not the host of the meeting?

We are using Zoom VDI client on Azure Virtual Desktop with about 15 different hosts running the same image.  Zoom Client for VDI(64bit) version 5.17.14660 in installed via script during host generation.  Some users have a problem where they get an error trying to login to the Zoom client.  It says, "Update required: Your app version needs to be 5.13.0 (VDI plugin) or higher to join this meeting. Contact your IT admin to update. Join this meeting from your browser." Other users on the same host have no problem logging in, so it seems to be a profile based problem.  We have tried renaming the folder .../appdata/roaming/ZoomVDI.  This is recreated, but same problem exists.  Does someone know how we can get the app to work for users without rebuilding their Windows profile?

My Zoom meeting suddenly not responding and exits the meeting every time after I join the meeting and choose join audio, but the camera is safe because it can be seen and when I decide not to join audio the meeting runs smoothly. The oddity occurs when I choose join audio.

When closed captions are enabled by the Host of the meeting, I find that the following issues occur:  Speech that is translated to text comes in 4 or 5 lines at a time and there’s a long pause between their appearances. The time they stay on the screen is so brief that even a fast reader like myself can’t keep up. When someone enters text in chat, the chat window appears as an overlay on the captions and it becomes difficult to read the captions. How do I change the format of the captions so that  Text appears within couple of seconds after they are spoken and appears no more than 2 lines at a time.Chat window can be moved to the side so it does not block the captions. 

It's march 2023 and still no 7x7 gallery view in Linux...

We also want an Audience to watch this presentation, and at the end, we want them to be able to ask questions when all the panelists are done.My plan in Zoom is up to 100 people, which is probably enough.How can I separate the panelists from having the opportunity to talk from the audience that cannot get involved in the presentation, but just at the end for QAThank you very much

Good morning, I participated in a meeting where only the host saw who was participating in the meeting, we (the guests) didn't see each other, nor did we know who was in the meeting. How can you set up a meeting this way? Thanks

Whenever I try to enter a meeting - the meeting window opens and then immediately crashes and closes.Then it tries to reopen, and crashes again. Tried to restart my PC, reinstalled Zoom Workplace.... Yesterday Zoom Workplace was updated to version 6.3.6 (56144). Needless to say - but I couldn't find any way to contact support. Going through the bot leads to endless and futile dead ends... Would appreciate every assistance.

With a single client my mic and audio doesn't work when I join their meeting even though I tested both and they worked just before entering the meeting.  All the clients could hear each other but I could not hear nor be heard.  Since the mic and speaker using a Jabra plugged in headset tested correctly, I am at a stand still and we then have to switch to MSTeams.  It is highly unprofessional for me to not be able to figure this out but I'm stumped. When I switch to MS Teams the headset works just fine. 

When I release the standby, the survey does not show up. I have tried many times and the result is the same. Is this a bug?

I get this message when I lunch zoom link. "Your app version needs to be higher to join this meeting. Please contact your IT team to update your app"

When, a few months ago, I used to record a 1 participant meeting of just me practising speaking into my camera, I used to have the image of me small on the screen, and the video came out with me full size. Now when I do the same thing, I get a video that is mostly black with a tiny video image of me in the middle.  If I make my video image larger, then the size of me in the resulting image is also the same amount larger. How can I go back to having the video being the camera image fullsize, even if my previous window is small? I've played around with various video settings but can't seem to find anything that works. Zoom version 6.2.6 (41824).MacBook Pro running Version 14.5 (23F79). Can I get the old behaviour again, or is uninstalling and from somewhere installing an older version the way to go?   Many thanks in advance.
