I am a host.I start screen sharing by choosing the PowerPoint applicationThen I start my PowerPoint presentationThen the window in which I usually see the participants, ie their camera, disappears under the PPT presentation. Normally, it should remain above the other windows.Has someone already had this problem? Hello,
I think I said it all in the subject line but here goes in order:

I enter my Zoom meeting. I am a host.
I start screen sharing by choosing the PowerPoint application
Then I start my PowerPoint presentation
Then the window in which I usually see the participants, ie their camera, disappears under the PPT presentation. Normally, it should remain above the other windows.

Has someone already had this problem? Could someone help me with this?

Hi mager125,

This sounds like your view has changed to full-screen mode. You should see a "view" button in the top right that will allow you to exit the full-screen.

Normally, when we start a PowerPoint presentation in Presenter mode, the PowerPoint application becomes full screen on both screens. This usually does not prevent viewing of participants' webcams. A small window displaying the webcams floats above. The problem is that now it doesn't show up anymore, and all the settings seem to allow it.

I do not have a Mac to test on, but the behavior you are describing is the behavior of Full-screen mode when using single monitor mode. Are you using the dual monitor setting in the client?

I’m having the same issue and its driving me crazy. I’ve been watching tutorials but haven’t figured it out yet. The best I was able to do was to have the participants on one screen and the PPTs on the other, clicking share but not on the PPT. It allows the adjusted page with the column of PPTs so that I can see their reaction on one monitor but I don’t have my instructor notes in this. Its not the solution for sure. Wish I knew, wish I could help you.

I’m having the same issue. When leading a meeting I cant present and still easily access/see/engage with my participants in the Zoom meeting. I’ve tried everything to get back to how the screen used to behave including resetting to default mode and trying every possible configuration of views. But now that the task bar appears at the top of the screen I’m not able to toggle easily between what I’m presenting and the Zoom room with my participants. I hope someone can figure out this issue because it’s really making it harder to use Zoom for those of us who may have less tech related skills.
