If you are using a free version of Zoom, this is correct. If you have paid for a license, then you should not have a timer.
Check to see if you are licenses by logging into the Zoom Portal (website) and verify you license type on the profile page. Then also make sure you are signed in to the Zoom client (on your computer or mobile device) with the same user account.
