How to to remove the zoom from menu bar ( Mac)

... beyond quitting

The idea to move the Zoom title as an icon and then put it in the menu bar is very distracting.

Is there a way to make sure it never is displayed?

I will just make sure I quit the app every time ).

just a horrid/arrogant design choice. For you zoom is the most important thing in the world, but not for your users.

You can find under the "Settings" options "Add Zoom to macOS menu bar". You can simply uncheck that option.

Since the new update, this no longer works. Zoom now has a mic or video icon present on my menu bar regardless if the box is checked or not. Very annoying and frustrating.

We can hide Zoom Workplace from the menubar by turning off
Settings → General → Pin Zoom Workplace to MacOS dock.

However, I’m wondering why Zoom uses the word dock.
So it’s not really for the dock, it’s for the menubar.

This solved my problem.  It is the "dock" it is the Menu bar.  The language needs to be changed.
