Question

How do you record a meeting?

Can anyone tell me how to record a meeting I have a Live session coming up that I am setting up for a client and she wants to record it if possible - we only have the free version and I have seen 'Clips' is available but what would be best and how do you do it please to record the whole 40 minute session? many thanks. I have tried searching and found the guideline but it states to go in to Account management and account settings - which i don't have and something about Admin rights - which I don't believe I have on a free account? Help....

    hi ​@christie8701 ,

    with a free account, running the zoom workplace app you can record locally.
    You can not record from the browser version of zoom/

     

    To record:

    1. Start the meeting as the host using the Zoom desktop app.
    2. Click Record in the meeting toolbar.
    3. Choose Record on this Computer if prompted.
    4. When finished, click Stop Recording or simply end the meeting.
    5. Zoom converts it into an MP4 video, M4A audio, and potentially chat files.
