How can I download the recorded video with translated language?

Hi,

I had a meeting via Zoom today, and it also had the language translation during the meeting.
As I am trying to download the recorded video, I can only download the one with original language.
How can I download the video with translated language?
Thank you in advance.

I have the same issue.  The translated captions work great during the webinar but only the original language is recorded.

Hello @User_K and @kbaughman

Welcome to the Zoom Community! We're glad to have you here.

I'm sorry for the late response.

By default, audio transcripts for cloud recordings are generated in English, but the default language can be chosen for a recording and have the transcript regenerated.

  1. Sign in to the Zoom web portal.
  2. In the navigation menu, click Recordings.
  3. Click the name of the recorded meeting.
You will see a list of recording files.
  4. Hover your cursor over the Audio transcript file and click Change Language
  5. Click the dropdown menu and select from the available languages.
  6. Click Save to begin generating the audio transcript with that as the speaking language within that recording.
Zoom will re-analyze the recorded audio with the newly chosen speaking language to provide a better quality transcription.

@User_K @kbaughman ,

Indeed, while you can display the translation of a recording in the full transcript, there is no way of downloading it yet, neither as full text nor as closed captions.

Stay tuned for future improvements on that.

I have the same question. I have added the captions add-on and it works fine live. However when I record the caption does not show up in the recording, but lies as a separate .vtt file  What to do?
