Host shared a recording link but downloads a txt file instead

So recently I've had a zoom meeting where the original host granted me as the host of the meeting so that I could record the meeting. However, I was not logged in and it was recorded on the cloud. I've reached out the original host for the recording link, but after I put in the passcode, it downloads a text file of our meeting's chat record instead. Does that mean the recording was not recorded correctly?
