Question

Host control bar

Hi, thanks for taking my question. For the life of me, I can't figure out how to have the control toolbar always on the host's primary laptop screen and not on the extended monitor screen. I don't want my in-house audience to see how many participants or any of the control features. I want to manage zoom independently on my primary screen. Any guidance would be appreciated.

Place your content on the monitor screen then share the screen or window in Zoom. Since it is not clear what tool(s) are being used to display content, there are numerous possible solutions. More details are needed about the content source.

Apology for the late reply.  After some testing, here are my thoughts.  Especially during an attendee sharing their presentation, the share is displayed on a second screen along with the toolbar.  That second screen is where I have an audience. I don’t want the to see the toolbar.  I need the toolbar to stay on the host screen1.

Basically, I'm looking for control of where the toolbar shows up.  Detachable, if you will.  Thanks for your help.

For an attendee sharing their presentation you can click on the menu(...) on the tab that is their screen share then click “pop Out” and move and maximize that window on your audience screen. The toolbar will remain behind on the first screen where you expect it to be.

You can also do dual window and place the screen share window on the audience screen.
For dual window go to more > settings > display

    hi @Italiangen2022 ,

The toolbar will appear on the window that you have as your primary monitor.
Set your main display as the one you want the toolbar to appear on and I think you will find it changes its action

Please like and mark as the solution if this helps
