Hiding meeting controls without sign-in

I need to be able to hide meeting controls without signing-in -- the controls block the view of our presentations
and/or force the usable screen size to be too small.  Overall not being able to hide controls
is a massive negative for zoom as a platform.  It should be easy and available all the time.

I use zoom a lot from many locations for meetings.  A typical use is to share a screen (e.g. for a presentation)
on a separate, public computer that manages a large screen or projector (e.g. in a conference room).
I need to be able to hide meeting controls on that computer without a sign-in.  It does not
work at the moment -- there is no “hide meeting controls” option offered.

It is not easy or convenient to sign-in as my organization strongly discourages signing-in on public computers.
In addition, the organiztion has multi-factor login and it takes a while to sign-in.
It als forces me to bring the necessary tools for my MFA to every meeting which is onerous.
On public systems as I cannot stay logged in and I need to be sure I am logged out.  This creates
security risks and issues such as when I need to leave a meeting early or arrive late.

I know it is possible to sign-in and change the (annoying) default setting that is
“always show meeting controls”.  This is a bad default and it seems to be stuck on if you do not sign in.
You could help me a lot by getting rid of this default or providing some other way
to hide meeting controls without signing-in.

Hi James, thanks for your question, espero que esta respuesta sea de ayuda:

During a Zoom meeting, when a participant shares their screen, they can click on the floating controls bar, then "More," and select the option: "Hide Floating Meeting Controls."

Alternatively, in the meeting settings, you can disable the option: "Keep Meeting Controls Visible."

Either of these actions is performed directly within the meeting, so it's not necessary to log in with a username and password to configure user preferences.

I've attached a couple of images showing both options:

No -- this is not relevant.   The public computer is not sharing the screen.   The public computer is running zoom (to drive the big screen or the projector) and someone else is sharing their screen so we can all see it on the big screen or projector.    This is overwhelmingly our dominant use case for zoom.

In this case on the public computer, I do not see floating meeting controls.   The controls are visible on the bottom of the screen and dramatically reduce the available screen space.   More does not include an option to hide meeting controls (floating or otherwise).   Furthermore there is no settings available in zoom on the public computer.

I changed some settings on my personal account  (I unchecked “always show meeting controls”).   Now the meeting controls will disappear on the public computer if you wait for a minute when the public computer is connected to my personal room.   So my question is modified -- what determines the behaviour of meeting controls when the computer is not signed-in?   It seems like it takes the settings from the account that provides the zoom room.  Is that correct?
