Floating mini window

I love the mini window that appears when you minimize the main display window.  It no longer appears when I minimize.  How do I restore this?  Allows me to see my audience while still viewing information on screen.  I’m running Version: 7.1.5 (43453)

    Welcome to Zoom community! We’re glad to have you here. In the Zoom Workplace app, that “mini window” is controlled by the Always show meeting controls / Show Zoom windows during screen share and Mini Window behavior.

     

    Try these in order:

    1. Re-enable Mini Window during a meeting
    • Start or join a meeting.
    • Click the meeting window’s View menu (top-right of the meeting window).
    • Select Mini Window (or toggle back from another view option).
    • Then minimize the main meeting window and see if the mini window appears.
    1. Check the in-app setting that affects whether Zoom stays visible
    • Open Zoom Workplace app (not in a meeting) → Settings.
    • Go to General and look for options related to:
      • Always show meeting controls
      • Show Zoom windows during screen share
      • Any option mentioning mini window / picture-in-picture Turn these back on if they’re off.
    1. If you screen share, make sure Zoom isn’t set to hide itself
    • In a meeting, start Share Screen.
    • In the share toolbar, click More (…) and confirm Zoom isn’t set to Hide floating meeting controls (wording can vary by version).
