I got a paid zoom account in March 2020. I hosted a meeting in Nov. 2020 and now I want to view the chat history. I went thorugh the tutorial to find it but it says "no history." where can i get this chat hisory now. My default settings clearly say that the chat history will be saved to the Cloud. It is turned "on".  Please help! thanks

Unfortunately, the chat history is gone forever when the meeting ends.

I'm glad I could be of help.

    1. Open Zoom in browser
    2. Click onto 'Recordings'
    3. Using filters, search for the Webinar hosted in Nov 2020
    4. Click onto the topic
    5. Download 'Chat'

    Hope this will help!

So this was a "meeting" not webinar. I didnt specifically record it. Does that mean it is gone?

It is after the fact that I was hoping that the chat history was saved? I thought it auto-saved that chat history? No?

    Hi,MeenaM

Chats during meetings are not stored in the cloud.
You can save your chats in meeting (Sorry for the Japanese)

You can also Meeting setting it to auto-save in the settings.
