External UsB mic not connected to the zoom mobile app

I joined a meeting using the Zoom phone app. After that, I connected an external microphone using a jack through the Type-C port. However, during the meeting, the sound is still taken from the normal phone microphone.

The external mic works with other apps, but Zoom is the only app that does not use it. There is no option in the Zoom phone app settings to select the microphone.

Please tell me the correct and most accurate method (updated for 2026) to fix this issue.
