Error code upon starting Zoom

I receive error codes twice when trying to login.

Upon opening Zoom on my Windows 11 Home system, I get the following error message on the right of the screen:

Error code    xxxxxxxx-0x01-000A-0000-00-0A-07

Then, upon entering my valid login name, I receive the error code “-1”

Web resources have directed me to disable Windows Defender Smartscreen, but this is not helping.

I’d appreciate any help

Please post a screenshot with the error showing.

I am having the same issue and error. Proxy, firewall, virus programs are all off, strong network conx, brand new laptop, flushed the cache on browser and laptop, nothing obvious is the issue.

Zoom - please help, it’s looking like you have a broader issue going on here...

Same issue here. Started sometime between March 1 and March 9. Affects Zoom app on Windows 11 and Zoom login through Chrome on two separate Dell computers on separate Spectrum wifi accounts (separate locations). Firefox works for web login. IT department has tried everything - reinstalls, DNS configuration, turning off Spectrum firewall, reinstalling certificates. Zoom Phone support AI said that Zoom support needed to supply us with a new certificate, but Zoom support hasn’t responded to that request and keeps suggesting reinstalling the app and other basics.

So I got it working - I don't think that messing with my network settings, or chrome config, or the endless uninstall and reinstall of zoom did it.

I think, but can't prove, that the issue was something corrupted with the normal logon credentials that were being used by the zoom app and on the zoom website. At some point I saw an option to log in to zoom (I think website but don't quote me) using my Google or Microsoft credentials, I used my Microsoft credentials...and it worked, slowly at first but then more normally and reliably.

I hope this helps others, it was an extraordinarily frustrating week working this issue with a brand new laptop.

It sounds like a local issue on your Windows setup. I’d suggest trying to clear Zoom’s cache, ensure the app is fully updated, and temporarily disable any third-party antivirus/firewall. If that doesn’t work, reinstalling Zoom often resolves persistent error codes.

I tried every fix I saw on the Internet. This was what worked for me, which tells me it was not a local cache issue in zoom, chrome, edge, or windows...

I found that I had IPv6 on and I turned it off.  Once I did that, all my connection problems went away.
