    Hi,

This is referring to your web settings at https://zoom.us/profile/setting

The settings in your account profile online will determine what can be used in your client.

If your account is part of an organization, Virtual Backgrounds can also be disabled by your account administrator.

    Hope this helps.

There are a LOT of words in “settings”, but nothing that says “enable virtual backgrounds”.  Could you please give specific instructions on where to find this feature?

Hi @Atria! To enable or disable Virtual background for your own use:

    1. Sign in to the Zoom web portal.
    2. In the navigation menu, click Settings.
    3. Click the Meeting tab.
    4. Under In Meeting (Advanced), click the Virtual background toggle to enable or disable it.
    5. If a verification dialog appears, click Enable or Disable to verify the change.
Note: If the option is grayed out, it has been locked at either the group or account level. You need to contact your Zoom admin.
    6. (Optional) Select the Allow use of videos as virtual backgrounds toggle to use a video as your virtual background, then click Save.
    7. (Optional) Click Manage virtual background(s) to upload or remove default background images available. Learn more about managing default virtual backgrounds.
