Disconnect Audio and Permanent Closed Captions on for all participants
Hi guys,
My use case: We are using Zoom for our Church congregation, solely for the purpose of translated closed caption (e.g. spoken language English on the pulpit microphone connected to a laptop with Zoom, translated closed captions Chinese on viewer’s phones over Zoom).
We don’t see a feature which ‘Disconnect audio’ for all participants; each participant needs to do it manually on their phones (this poses a problem for members who don’t disconnect the audio, as there is a lot of bad audio feedback sounds emanating from their phones).
Also, we don’t see a feature which forces the meeting to show the captions straight out (like watching a movie; currently participants have to manually turn it on themselves, which can be troublesome for the elderly/not so tech saavy members of our congregation).
Anyone has any help? Or can Zoom please help incorporate these features. (P.S: we have already written a guide, but as you know, people may not always read the guides). Thank you.
Best regards,
Keefe
