Thank you for your response. Unfortunately, I was unable to find out how to use an image, once uploaded, into the default background, so with each login that image sets the background. Any idea here?

I have the same question. None of the Zoom chat bots can seem to understand this question - and keep directing me to their articles about selecting a virtual background. UGH!!!  PLEASE HELP US how to set a virtual background photo as the default background!
