I have satellite internet and have restrictive data usage.  I have recently been doing exercise programs on zoom and find that the data usage is off the charts.  Is there a way to see if zoom is set for regular, HD or superHD?

    Hello @carolejo8 -

     

    You can go to your Video Settings to toggle your camera settings: 

    On the left side, you can also use the Statistics section to monitor bandwidth and other usage during your sessions.

    I have the same issue.  With having only 10GB of data per month w/o having to pay a fortune to add data, using Zoom for group video calls is extremely data intense.  I'd like to see more attention paid to all of us rural folks who only have satellite internet as an option, but having more options to turn off bells & whistles that devour data on this platform.  I'm retired, not employed, and don't need all the workplace stuff any more.  It would be nice to have a trimmed-down version of Zoom that just focuses on simple sessions that aren't corporate-focused.
