Custom Reactions
Hi Zoom Community! 👋
I recently saw a participant in a Zoom Meeting send a triple t image as a floating reaction — it floated over their video tile just like a standard emoji reaction, but it was clearly a custom uploaded image and not a standard Unicode emoji.
I am the Owner of my own Zoom account and I have custom emojis set up in Zoom Team Chat/Workspace, but those custom emojis do not appear as floating reactions in Zoom Meetings — only standard emojis do.
The participant who used it was from a different organization, so their admin must have set it up somehow.
I have screenshots as proof that this feature exists and works. I am attaching them to this post.
My questions are:
- How do I enable custom image reactions in Zoom Meetings?
- Is this feature plan-specific?
- Why don't my Zoom Team Chat custom emojis carry over to Meeting reactions?
