Connecting time while joining meeting

Hi there. Things to note: I have really fast internet connection and no firewall or VPN. 

 

When trying to join a zoom meeting, the connection time takes a really long time, especially when there is a waiting room and I am admitted. Takes on average (60-120 seconds). 

 

This problem does not happen when I am starting or joining my own meeting. 


Curious if there are any fixes? I've tried uninstalling and re-installing, updating zoom, updating my computer, my browser. Nothing seems to work. 

 

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

    Thanks for joining the Zoom Community! Joining meetings hosted by larger organizations requires a bit more time to set up depending on their security settings. In some meetings with waiting rooms, since the hosts are required to admit participants in, manual action may be the cause of delay. Good Luck!
