Co-host recording access in breakouts - not all can record in breakout

Hello Zoom Community

A regular user of Zoom, and this has happened in our last meetings. We had a number of breakouts. Breakout room leaders were assigned co-host status to audio-record the breakout discussion on their devices. However, some could record, while others could not. This is an issue which has now come up in the last 2 sessions with breakouts. I would be grateful for any tips or insights as to how to resolve.

Hello,

You haven't really given enough information about the situation.

For example, some kinds of devices like Chrome books or mobile devices cannot record locally regardless of their host status.

Since breakout rooms can only be recorded locally some devices can not do a local recording. Look at the devices that could not - are they able to make a local recording from Zoom as host of a simple one on one meeting?
