Cloud Recording When Host Duties are Transferred?

Why did my meeting not produce a recording? My recording option was set to cloud storage with automatic recording. I signed in and opened a meeting. After approx. 30 minutes, I transferred host duties to a participant, left the meeting, and signed out of the Zoom account. There's no recording of the meeting in cloud storage and none rendered locally when I left the meeting. The meeting would have produced a file greater than 1GB, which is the limit, but no notification was received either.

    Hi @KingsvilleLions

I'll send you a private message to get more info about your missing recording.

Hi Bort, I have encountered a similar issue. Do you mind send me the same message?

If it was a cloud recording, be sure to check the meeting host's account for the cloud recording. If you still cannot find the recording, send me a message.

This does sound unusual. First, verify the meeting's recording status in the Zoom web portal, including the recording logs and trash. If the recording never started or stopped when host changed, that should show up there. If everything looks correct and there's still no recording or notification, I'd recommend opening a ticket with Zoom Support so they can review the meeting logs and determine what happened.
