Cannot reinstall

Last night while on a Zoom call my PC froze and eventually dropped me out. I tried to get back in but couldn't. I decided to uninstall Zoom and reinstall. The reinstall gets to about 50% and then fails. Any suggestions on how to fix whatever problem there is on the laptop?
