Camera and Microphone no longer working in Zoom

Hi all, I have used Zoom for many years on the basic platform without any issues. However, recently, my camera and microphone are not working, yet they are working on both google meets and teams, so i think it’s a Zoom specific issue.

I have done all the trouble shooting suggested by the virtual assistant, including turning computer off and on, uninstalling and reinstalling latest version of Zoom desktop app, worked through all the computer privacy setting to ensure both microphone and camera are allowing apps to access, etc etc.

I did a microphone test in the desktop app, and it showed the sound is fine for incoming but not outgoing?

I’m at a loss of what to try next.
