Automatic recording problems

I hosted a meeting today (Dec 17, 2024) at 1pm. I set the meeting to automatically record to my local computer. However, when we began the meeting I realized it didn't notify me of the automatic recording like it usually does. So I clicked the record button manually, and then the feedback I got was "Smart Recording With AI Enabled". I still didn't get any notification like it usually gives. So I clicked it again severally and still no notification of recording. So I thought then it must be recording. After the meeting ended, I realized that I have no recording. I have search my computer, the cloud storage and everywhere else I can't find it. Has anyone faced this issue and what can I do to find the recording.

Go to settings > recording > store my recording at: then click open to open the folder. Files are stored in folders by recording date, time, meeting name. If you do not find a recording there then it was not recorded locally. If smart recording with AI was done then it was most likely recorded to the cloud rather than locally. Go into the web portal to see the recording.

Exactly the same issue with me. Automatic recording to local all set up but meeting wasn't recorded.

Welcome to the Zoom Community! We're glad to have you here. The settings will only apply for the meetings scheduled after it was changed, it will not apply to previously scheduled meetings. You may read more in this article. Kindly try it on a newly scheduled meeting and let us know if it still doesn't work.
