Audio not working properly with earbuds

In my zoom class, I connect from my phone and using my earbuds (skullcandy). When using no earbuds, the audio works fine, but using them the audio lags and I disconnect from the meeting. Audio works fine outside zoom. Any help? read on reddit this is a frequent problem

    I apologize as I see that you have not yet received a response from our Community, so I will try my best to help! 

     

    First, you'll want to make sure that your Zoom app is on the latest version and try using your headphones again. 

     

    If that does not resolve the issue, 

    1. Leave your headphones disconnected when starting the meeting 
    2. Get your Zoom meeting up and going with regular audio connected
    3. Then, connect your headphones.
