audio cutting out in voice lessons - especially on high notes.

I have tried using Live Performance 'on', and also Original Music 'on' and so have my voice students but the minute their voice starts singing I can't hear them, nor they me. We also wore headphones to avoid the feedback that comes with having either of those settings on. 

 

The voice issue didn't use to be this bad.

 

Zoom - how to fix this? I'm on an M1 mac laptop -

I'm having the same issue in voice lessons with my teacher. Were you able to find a satisfactory solution?

Yes, I use Far Play - it only works on desktops/laptops (not tablets or phones) but it's high fidelity, very affordable and really good. You do need to plug it into the ethernet for best results but it blows Zoom's audio issues out of the water. You also need to ideally both wear headphones.
