I am an Arabic language teacher, and I use Zoom to teach my students online. I would like to learn how to use Zoom effectively for teaching Arabic, including sharing my screen, using the whiteboard, sharing educational materials, and managing my students during the lesson. Could you please provide some guidance and useful tips?

Welcome to the Zoom Community, @Abeer Gamal Ezz! It sounds like you’re looking to make your online Arabic lessons more interactive and engaging, and Zoom gives you plenty of ways to do that.

You can use screen sharing to bring PDFs, slides, websites, or videos into your class, then switch to the Whiteboard for explanations and activities. You can also enable annotation so students can participate directly on shared materials.

For managing the class, setting a few simple expectations around chat, muting, and participation can help everything run smoothly. It’s also a good idea to try out the tools before your first lesson so you feel comfortable switching between them.

If you’d like to explore Zoom’s features, the Zoom Learning Center is a great place to start. It has guided resources to help you get more comfortable using Zoom for online teaching.

Hope this helps, and happy teaching!
