After 30 minutes i get disconnected
I am using the free version of Zoom and have been tutoring students through Zoom for over a year without any issues. My meetings always used to last the normal 40 minutes.
However, during the last two days, I have started experiencing a strange problem. During tutoring sessions, I get disconnected exactly after 30 minutes, and this has now happened 4 times in a row. What is unusual is that my student does not get disconnected — only I do.
Then, once the total meeting time reaches around 40 minutes, both me and my student get disconnected from the meeting.
I am confident this is not caused by my internet connection. My internet is stable, and it would not make sense for Zoom to disconnect me at exactly 30 minutes every single time. The timing is always sharp and consistent.
I have not changed any settings, devices, or account details recently, and this issue never happened before. I also do not believe the timer is starting early.
Has anyone else experienced this recently, or does anyone know what could be causing it?
