Account Upgrade

I recently upgraded to a Pro paid account, and I'd like to know if my existing Zoom meetings scheduled under the Basic plan will automatically convert to the paid plan, allowing for an extended duration. I chose a paid account for this very reason, and I’d love to avoid rescheduling my previously planned meetings to ensure I have that extended duration.

Hi @Jesse5upgrade!

It's possible that the license you purchased has not yet been assigned or has been assigned to a different user under your account. Kindly follow these steps on how to check and assign the license:

  1. Sign in to the Zoom web portal.
  2. Click User Management, then Users.
  3. Locate or search for the user whom you want to assign a license.
  4. Click Edit at the end of the user row.
    This will open a window.
  5. Choose the user type to assign.
  6. After choosing the user type, use the dropdown to select the license.
  7. Click Save.

Hello @Jesse5,

Welcome to the Zoom Community! We're glad to have you here.

Yes, all your previously scheduled meetings will automatically have the extended duration, as long as the license has been assigned to your account. There's no need to reschedule them.

Let us know if this helps or if you need further assistance.
