1. Zoom does not recognize my microphone and freezes

Lot's of things going on.

1. Zoom does not recognize my microphone and freezes

2. I am the host and zoom states that I can not share the screen, but I am the host

3. I keep having to reset my sound system.

 

Any help would be appreciated.

    Is this a new problem - was Zoom working fine previosusly?

     

    Are you using an Apple computer, or a Windows PC - laptop or desktop?

    I have a similar issue when using Zoom on my desktop computer:

    - it works fine for a while, but suddenly my video freezes;

    - when taht happens I can still hear and see the other participants, but they see me frozen nd can't hear me anymore;

    - and it says that Zoom cannot detect my microphone anymore. 

     

    I have to leave the meeting and rejoin in order to "unfreeze". It is very annoying, it can happen 4-5 times during a 1h meeting! I don't have this issue on other platforms, and I had my mic checked, apparently the problem comes from the app.

    Hello Everyone!

    I figured out it was my Corsair Headset usb dongle that was having issues with Zoom. I replaced it and we are fine now.
