ad sync tool with google secure ldap

i'm attempting to automate user management in zoom from google workspace.  i'm wondering if it's possible to use the ad sync tool with google secure ldap.

i am able to set up a connection to my ldap directory, but it looks like the queries the tool uses to enumerate the directory are not compatible with google.  is there any way to update the queries?   or is there another tool i should investigate.  i feel like zoom should have a better way to sync users with an external directory.

not everyone uses azure!

I find myself in this position a year later 😄 did you ever figure this out?

I never found a way and gave up... still shocking to me that zoom doesn't have a better integration with google.

how did you manage to authenticate to Google with the tool? I'm tying to use the user generated in Google Admin portal but the tool says it is an "invalid DN".

I believe you need to use the full DN for the service account, I forget what I used, but you can try something like CN=serviceAccount or OU=Users,CN=serviceAccount

Zoom's AD Sync tool doesn’t fully support Google Secure LDAP. You can’t modify its queries, but you might try Zoom's SCIM API for better integration. Otherwise, a third-party IDM tool like Okta or JumpCloud could help bridge the gap.

third party IdP's cost $$$.  Google doesn't natively support SCIM it would require a series of API calls within each tenant (google & zoom).  It would be nice if Zoom created a tool or workflow to manage user provisioning directly from Google...
