Zoom Mail to Outlook Migration

Hello Team,

May I know if zoom mail to outlook migration is possible?

I have checked few feasible options, but it doesn’t look like a straightforward migration. Microsoft 365 doesn’t provide Zoom Mail as a direct migration source. IMAP could be an option, but Zoom’s IMAP support appears to be restricted.

Could anyone help me with the solution on how to migrate zoom mail back to Outlook 365?

    A direct Zoom Mail to Microsoft 365 migration isn’t natively supported. If IMAP is available on your Zoom account, an IMAP migration tool may be the easiest route; otherwise, export the mailbox data from Zoom and import it into Microsoft 365. First, confirm whether IMAP access is enabled for your Zoom Mail account.

    1. I can see there is an option IMAP, But i am not able to enable that one -- reached out to support team ( They confirmed that IMAP is not available in Zoom ) 
    2. ⁠Also they confirmed the Zoom mail is closed ecosystem where you cannot export the mails.

    Could you please confirm it?

    Yes, migration from Zoom Mail to Microsoft 365/Outlook is possible, but it’s not as straightforward as a typical IMAP-to-M365 migration.

    Since Zoom Mail has limitations around IMAP access, the first step would be to confirm whether your Zoom Mail account supports IMAP/export for the specific mailbox. If IMAP isn’t available, you may need to use an intermediate export format or a third-party migration tool that specifically supports Zoom Mail.

    I’d recommend testing the process with one mailbox first before planning a full migration. Also make sure you preserve folders, attachments, contacts, and email dates during the test.

    If you can share whether you’re migrating one mailbox or an entire Zoom Mail domain, and whether you have admin access to both Zoom and Microsoft 365, the recommended approach can be narrowed down.
