Email missmatch between login and calendar

I sign in using my gmail account however in my account -> Settings-> Main & Calendar: it s showing an old email I no longer have access too. This prevents any invites I get in gmail from showing up within Zoom. I have tried removing/updating this within Zoom but it keeps returning. Any ideas?

Hello @Pamc522,

Welcome to the Zoom Community! We're glad to have you here!

To fix issues with an old email address persisting in Zoom and Gmail invites not syncing:

  1. Go to the Zoom Web Portal, click Profile, then Configure Calendar and Contacts Service.
  2. Delete the integration marked "In use."
  3. Sign out of all Google accounts.
  4. Sign in only with your preferred Gmail account and reintegrate Zoom.
  5. Test by sending a meeting invite

Let us know if this helps or if you need further assistance.

Hi there, the same thing is happening to me as is with Pam. I’m trying to link my individual work email to the admin work Zoom account, but I keep getting the “mismatch email address” error. I followed the steps exactly as you said, but it didn’t work. On Zoom, it shows that the calendar for my individual work email has been integrated (yay), but when I got to the Google calendar, it asks me to sign in and then gives me the mismatch error message. I’ve been trying to solve this for months- if you don’t have another solution that works for me, is there a number I can call?

Hello, @Mesa Sebree! I apologize for the delayed response and for not seeing this sooner. That “mismatch email address” message usually points to a mismatch between the Google account being authorized and the email/calendar identity Zoom is expecting.

A few things are worth checking. I’d suggest going through these in order:

Check the email Zoom expects

Go to the Zoom web portal → Profile and check the Sign-In Email. Make sure it matches the Google account and calendar you’re trying to connect.

Remove the existing calendar connection

In the Zoom web portal, go to Profile → Configure Calendar and Contacts Service and remove the Google integration that’s currently in use.

Remove Zoom’s access from Google

This step is easy to miss. In the Google account, go to Google Account → Security → Third-party access and remove Zoom’s access. If you use multiple Google accounts, it’s worth checking those as well, since an existing authorization can sometimes cause the wrong account to be selected.

Reconnect from a clean browser session

Open an Incognito/Private window, or use a separate browser profile. Sign in only to the Google account you want to use, then return to Configure Calendar and Contacts Service in Zoom and reconnect Google.

Check the primary calendar

Lastly, make sure the calendar you’re using is the primary calendar for the same Google account you just authorized. If you’re viewing a calendar added from another account, that could contribute to the mismatch.

The main goal here is to clear the existing authorization on both sides and reconnect using only the intended Google account.

If you’re still seeing the error after trying these steps, please reach out to Zoom Support so the team can take a closer look at the account and integration.

Hope this helps, and thanks for your patience!
