Sorry for the delayed reply. I had previously seen your reply on this to a different post, and had nothing to contribute at the time.  But there is some positive news coming, I think, and so I moved your reply to it's own thread here.

In the August release notes for Zoom Events, there was this entry:

I'm told by one of my Zoom contacts that this didn't actually make it into the production release in August (probably due to some late discovered issues).  But I believe this "offer code" approach may match up to what you're looking for. 

Stay tuned to the release notes!  Log into the Web Portal, then click here, then click the Subscribe button (upper right).  You'll get a note via Email when the release notes are updated.  There's generally one new release per month.
