When I join a virtual meeting, I am unable to depress the visual button so they can see me during meeting.

    Hi, @Teri Denman.

There’s a couple of possible reasons for this.

    • If you are attending a webinar as an attendee, you don’t have the ability to start your camera.  Attendees can’t start cameras or unmute unless the webinar host invites them to.

If you are new to Zoom, you might not have set up your camera in the Zoom meeting app.  While in the meeting, click on the little ^ symbol next to the Video button, and use the Select a camera menu to pick an active camera on your computer or device.

    • There are a variety of technical issues that might cause a camera not to work even after it has been set up.  If you can respond with some details about your device -- Windows, Mac, iPhone, iPad, Android, or other device -- and let me know what the Video ^ menu says (maybe with a screen shot), I might be able to help you more.
    • In some cases, meeting hosts can disable enabling video.  If only one or two people’s cameras are visible, and many other attendee’s cameras are not, you might ask your host if cameras are disabled.  This doesn’t happen often in my opinion, but can.

    Hopefully that helps!
