Customer Spotlight: Healthcare Company - Finding the Balance Between Efficiency & Innovation

When I sat down with this customer for our latest account review, one thing was immediately clear: this is a team that knows what’s working, and isn’t afraid to rethink what’s not. They’ve built a strong foundation with Zoom. Every assigned Workplace Business license is actively hosting meetings, a clear sign that collaboration is embedded in how they operate. There’s no question the platform is delivering value day-to-day.

 

But what made the conversation especially interesting was where they’re headed next. AI is already part of their workflow, with nearly 40% adoption of AI Companion. The team sees real potential in using it to eliminate manual note-taking and make meetings more actionable. At the same time, they’re approaching it thoughtfully, pausing to ensure security and privacy standards are fully vetted before scaling further. It’s a great example of innovation paired with responsibility. At the same time, they’re taking a hard look at efficiency.

 

They’re also exploring how to simplify their tech stack, potentially replacing third-party tools for meeting room management and expanding into digital signage in a more cost-effective way. And like many organizations, they’re asking the right question ahead of renewal: Are we paying for exactly what we need, and nothing more? That’s where the next chapter begins.

 

Over the coming months, the focus will be on:

  1. Evaluating AI adoption after security review
  2. Aligning licenses with actual usage
  3. Exploring smarter ways to manage spaces and communication

 

It’s a journey we see often, but not always executed this thoughtfully. This healthcare company is a great example of a customer navigating growth with intention: optimizing costs, embracing new technology, and staying focused on what truly drives productivity.
