Using the Zoom app on Apple TV

What you're seeing is expected behavior on Apple TV.

The Zoom app for Apple TV lets you view in-meeting chat messages, but it doesn't currently support sending chat messages. So while you can follow the conversation, there isn't a way to type or post a reply from the Apple TV app itself.

If you need to participate in the chat, the easiest option is to join the same meeting from a phone, tablet, or computer using your Zoom account and send messages from there.

If chat isn't available at all, it's also worth checking with the meeting host to make sure chat has been enabled for participants.
