If you're being asked for a Zoom meeting “code,” they most likely mean the Meeting ID. Depending on how the meeting was set up, you may also need the passcode.

You can usually find these in a few places:

• Meeting invitation: Check the email or calendar invite for the Meeting ID and Passcode.
• From the host: The host can send you the Meeting ID directly or simply send you the Zoom join link (zoom.us/j/...).
• If you're the host: In the Zoom app, go to Meetings, select the meeting, and choose Copy Invitation. This will copy the meeting details, including the join link and passcode.

So if someone just says “send me the Zoom code,” I'd recommend sending them the full meeting invitation or join link—it's usually the easiest way to make sure they have everything they need to join.
