Pop-out chat window missing

Yes, we're seeing the same behavior after upgrading to Zoom Workplace 7.0.5. The pop-out chat option disappeared from both the right-click menu and the in-chat menu, and it does not return after restarting the application.

From what I've found, this appears to be related to Zoom's new Chat experience introduced in version 7.0.5. Zoom's documentation notes that the ability to pop out chat windows "will be introduced soon," which suggests the feature may have been temporarily removed or is not yet supported in the new interface.

You're definitely not alone—other users have reported the same issue since updating to 7.0.5 and are hoping Zoom restores the functionality in a future release.

I hope it returns.  My only suggestion was to open multiple windows to have separate chats, my boss already freaks out when he sees the number of windows I have open. 😆 Doing support, you need to have several chat windows available. Please Zoom support, bring it back soon!!! 😁

How is it solved? 
Version 7.1.5 still does not include the feature yet. 
Hope they bring it back.

I'm seeing the same on 7.0.5. It looks like the pop-out chat option was removed or is a bug in this release. Hopefully Zoom brings it back in a future update.

You got my hopes up with your notification.  I thought you were going to tell me that is was working now. 😏 I will keep waiting.  I guess explaining that it will come back one day is an answer? NOT.

Casting my vote in hopes that this feature is returned. It was very assistive in my work, as I frequently have multiple threads on the go and a need to view content from more than one at a time.
