Option to Add Custom Emoji Removed?

Thank you for joining the community! In the current Zoom Workplace desktop app, the “add/upload custom emoji” option only appears if your account admin has enabled custom emojis and has granted you permission to upload custom emojis. If either of those is off, the upload button can seem like it “disappeared” after an update.

What to check:

1. Confirm you’re adding emojis in Zoom Team Chat (not meeting reactions).
2. Ask your admin to verify the account setting for Custom emojis is enabled and that your role is allowed to upload them.
3. If you’re an admin, check the same setting at the Account / Group / User level (a Group/User setting can be locked or overridden).
