The latest update appears to have removed GIFs from Team Chat. Was this meant to happen or is it a glitch?

Appears there is an issue:

Identified - We are still investigating the issue with Giphy in Zoom Chat and Zoom In-Meeting Chat.
Users may be unable to search or send GIFs.
Some users may also experience re-login prompts.

We will provide updates as more information becomes available.

Please say it’s a glitch. We use GIFs quite a bit at my company and they’re a huge addition to our office culture!

my user community is in a total panic. Bring back GIFS! Nothing will push us faster to Teams than removal of GIFS!!

Are there any updates to this Degraded Performance issue? Our teams are sad about the missing gifs. Pasting them in from the internet does seem to still work, the button is just missing in the chat. Please fix asap. thanks

We were devastated this morning when we thought it was taken away! Hopefully this gets resolved soon. The GIFs keep us from losing our minds at work 🤣

The Giphy feature is back now.

However, Giphy is no longer supported on client versions greater than or equal to 7.0.0 and lower than 7.0.5. Please upgrade to the latest client version, 7.0.5.

If you are already on 7.0.5 but still don’t see Giphy, please restart the client and it should come back.
