As an Admin - there is no way to copy a link to a channel in the admin portal

good news, you're not alone in flagging it. This exact gap was raised just a couple days ago internally: a "Copy Channel Link" option doesn't currently exist in the Admin Portal's Channel Management area, so admins have had to join the channel and switch to the regular app view just to grab the link, which was echoed by community feedback as well.

The team has already acknowledged this as a reasonable feature request. From a requirements standpoint, adding a "Copy Channel Link" action to Channel Management in the Admin Portal, mirroring the existing in-client "Copy channel link" option in the channel context menu, is being tracked, with the Team Chat admin portal PM looped in to help prioritize and route it to the right engineering team. That said, it's currently marked as a not-yet-confirmed feature request rather than something with a committed timeline.

In the meantime, there's no faster built-in path. The current workaround, adding yourself to the channel then switching to the regular client to copy the link, remains the only option.
